Following a defining redesign by Post Company in 2016, the Coachman hotel underwent a four-year expansion — completed in two stages between 2020 and 2024 — adding four buildings to the property. The new structures house forty guest rooms, a gym, a wellness room, and a conference center.
The expansion successfully maintained the original design aesthetic while tweaking some aspects to optimize functionality and storage.
Custom casework—including platform beds, credenzas and bunk beds for the guest rooms—was designed in collaboration with LA designer / fabricator 100xbtr.
